Two major strengths that any agent you work with have to have to get your home sold are marketing and negotiating.
Marketing
Marketing ranges from everything from Facebook to YouTube to Instagram advertising, retargeting campaigns, digital repurposing, traditional marketing virtual open houses, video tours, direct mail, massive web exposure, a personal property website, and what wording and descriptive phrases to use to hook buyers and a proven strategy to accomplish all of this. The bottom line is that the marketing aspect is often overlooked by many sellers and realtors, but it has to be one of the biggest impacts on your bottom line to get your home sold.
Negotiations
Let’s look at negotiations. This is a very important topic to cover and think about. It’s so much more than deciding who pays for what. There is so much to think about and address during negotiations and you need to understand that negotiations never really stop until you officially close on the sale.
So you absolutely need a strong negotiator in your corner. Now there are obvious things that everyone sees but there is a multitude of negotiations that are done behind the scenes.
