Real Estate Market Update April 2020
What’s happening in Real Estate with everything that we have going on. Now more than ever it’s important to be aware of what’s happening. The government is changing what we can and can’t do from one day to another. Hi I’m Dave Bulava with the Dave Bulava Group at Keller Williams Premiere Properties. With all the change, one thing that remains constant is that people will still need to buy and they’ll still need to sell, and there are opportunities for both buyers and sellers.
As a seller, it’s imperative that you work with an agent who truly understands how to use digital marketing, video and social media. Also, knowing how to use it correctly, is imperative. It can mean the difference between forty or fifty people seeing your property or THOUSANDS seeing your property. It’s easy to just post homes on your personal page or business page, but unfortunately, because Facebook is a Business, they need advertising money to stay in business. They give you the tools to reach massive amounts of people, but you have to pay for ad space.
My team and I are specialists in video and digital marketing and our strong knowledge of this platform allows us to expose our properties to tens of thousands of people…both locally and across the nation. We’ve spent thousands of dollars mastering and hiring the best trainers and coaches to teach us how to best utilize digital marketing for the advantage of our clients.We average hundreds of hours of watch time on our videos and tens of thousands of people that see our video ads. I mean think about it, that’s a lot of watch time and a lot of eyeballs.
According to Forbes, 90% of customers say a video helps them in buying decisions. And, 64% of customers say seeing a video makes them more likely to buy. So just imagine just how powerful it is to have tens of thousands of people seeing your home online and watching hundreds of hours of videos about it. Reach and video views are more important now more than ever, especially when in person showings are limited.
According to the National Association of Realtors 67% of buyers will walk through a home they see online. But you may be thinking, no one is going to be able to walk through my home right now because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I agree, in person showings have slowed down, and that’s why it’s essential to hire an agent who knows how to use video, digital marketing and social media correctly. You need an agent that has adapted to our new world…for however long this lasts, so you can be sure that your home still gets massive exposure.
But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered, In addition to all of the video, digital and social media ads that I run, I also do Virtual Online Open Houses. I’m sure you’ve heard of this strategy by now, But the key factor in this, is that I know how to actually reach, target, and re-target people to get them into your online virtual open house.
And buyers, you have opportunities as well. The competition isn’t quite as steep as it was a month ago, so now is a perfect time to buy. Also, after this is all over, we expect there to be a surge of buyers wanting to purchase because of interest rates being at an all-time low. So, if your situation allows…take advantage of it.
